Mothering Sunday – 30th March – Mark the grand opening of our 2025 season with a Mothering Sunday celebration. Stroll through our million-daffodil meadows following Wordsworths’ most famous poem through the cascades of springtime yellow.  On this special day, every woman attending will receive a beautiful hand-tied daffodil posy of daffodils, and children can enjoy crafting their own thoughtful Mother’s Day cards to take home. This event is free for Cholmondeley Members and Members of HHA  Book here

Easter Sunday Family Fun Bunny Trail – 20th April – Find the hidden bunnies and solve the riddles to win an Easter prize.Visit the animals where you can hold, pet, feed, learn about and see meerkats, owls, snakes, tarantulas, rabbits, scorpions, guinea pigs, reptiles and giant snails. Also, beat the Easter Bunny…put on the bunny ears and hop, skip, jump and race with your egg and spoon to see if you can beat the Bunny! Book Here

Spring Plant Fair – Sunday 27th April – April is just the right time to pick up some spring plants and bulbs to perk up your beds and borders to fill your garden with colour. The plants are lovingly grown by these specialist nurseries who will bring a great range of perennials, shrubs, herbs, alpines, bulbs, wild flowers, rare species, old heritage varieties and up to the minute new varieties for a wide range of garden situations from hot sun to cool shade. Tickets for this event are almost half price. Dogs welcome on leads. This event is free for Members of HHA and Cholmondeley Members, you do not need to purchase a ticket and are welcome to just turn up on the day. Book Here

5 Million Bluebells Woodland Walk – Bank Holiday 4th & 5th May – Wander through the biggest bumper crop of Bluebells that Cholmondeley Castle Gardens has ever seen. The Bluebells cover over 36,000 square metres of ground, which after counting hold an average of 200 Bluebells per square metre, meaning we will have over 7.2 million Bluebells across the Gardens and on Tower Hill.
