Now open, the Four Seasons Rose Garden
Throughout the past few years, the new Four Seasons Rose Garden has quietly begun to take shape. This has created two very different connected rose rooms between old and new. With 800 new plantings, the Rose Garden will be a highlight in May and June. Roses include Reine des Violettes, Tuscany Superb, Queen of Denmark, Belle de Crecy, Variegata di Bologna and more.
The original Rose Garden was the first area to be designed by Lady Cholmondeley and was completed in the early 1950’s with local sandstone.
The new Four Seasons Rose Garden is now open and welcomes visitors, pictures of this extensive project and the build involved are below.
