The Deer Park Mere and Nature Trail gives visitors the opportunity to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the surroundings, with magnificent views of Cholmondeley Castle. The Mere has an extensive bird and waterfowl population.
The Wildlife is monitored and recorded with the help of Nantwich Natural History Society, who are also involved in the continuing programme to improve this lakeside area.
It is advisable to wear appropriate footwear as walkways can flood in bad weather.
